International friendship and the Magna Carta

As part of the Global Legal Summit 2015, delegates were able to inspect one of the original copies of the Magna Carta at a sumptuous reception at the Guildhall Art Gallery in the City of London.

It was a unique opportunity to see the finest surviving copy of the document from the 13th century, which includes the seal of King Edward I.

Sue Bramall (left), director at Berners Marketing, attended the event and is pictured here with Daikun Xiong (centre), senior partner and tax attorney with Guanghe Law Firm based in Shenzhen in China, and Zlatina Ruseva-Savova (right) managing partner at the Ruseva-Savova Law Office based in Paris and Sofia, Bulgaria.

It was a privilege to be invited to see the Magna Carta in such a wonderful setting, and to discuss and admire a charter that represents such a defining moment in our legal history.
